There, O brothers, one thing that helps a lot, one thing that must be developed, one thing that must be understood, one thing that must be abandoned, one thing remains on the side of forfeiture; one thing left side of the specific outcomes; one thing to know, but not easy to do one thing unborn one thing to understand a specific wisdom, one thing to be achieved through experience.

What is the only thing that helps a lot?

Be careful to take care of things positive and effective. That's the only thing that helps a lot.

What is the only thing that needs to be developed?

joyful focused attention towards the functioning of the body. That's the only thing that must be developed.

What is the only thing that needs to be well understood?

contact which determines the mental effluents toxic and ownership. That's the only thing that must be understood.

What is the only thing that should be abandoned?

The idea arrogant "I am." That's the only thing that should be abandoned.

What is the only thing left side of the forfeiture?

Think inattentive. That's the only thing left side of the disqualification.

What is the only thing left side of the specific results?

Think carefully. That's the only thing left side specific results.

What is the only thing to know, but not easy?

infinite mental concentration. That's the only thing to know, but not easy.

Understanding unwavering. That's the only thing to give birth.

release unshakable thought. That's the only thing to understand by experience.

In this way, these ten doctrinal point which is factual, true, true, that can not be otherwise, that can not be otherwise, have been fully understood by the Tathagata.
